Why & How To Be A Stallholder At SWEH Expo

Why:

• There is an opportunity to make money and gain great exposure for your brand
• You get to interact with your customers, understand what questions they might have about your products/service, ask your customers questions
• The audience we are expecting are other entrepreneurs from the SWEH Facebook group as well as their family, friends and professionals from the South West Sydney area and beyond. We are also expecting club patrons to walk in. Last year, we attracted over 300 people to the event
• Perhaps you are thinking about launching a new product and would like to know some tricks to promote sales. It might be a great opportunity to affordably test if new products will sell
• Maybe you are just curious, wondering what it’s like to be on the other side and what goes through a seller's mind
• There is the opportunity to network and make useful contacts at a market. Markets can open many new doors if you display your brand well to the right person.

How:

• If you had a 2.5m x 2.5m space for a stall with a trestle table and 2 chairs, how would you set it up in order to best gain awareness, interest and engagement from the public?
• Prepare by buying the necessary kit to best display your products and promote sales eg. Banners, table cloth, business cards, card reader, tools, props and marketing utensils
• If you're a newbie at being a stallholder, it is unlikely you will know exactly what you need to really bring out the best side of your products/service. You can do a Google search, or use Pinterest for inspiration to see how you would like to style your stall
• If you're a service-based business, you can demonstrate your service, show a video of your service in action - bring a laptop along and pop it on display on your table, offer a free, no obligation consultation, etc - get creative and think possibilities!
